Establishing the rule of law as a fundamental prerequisite for state-building and for protecting the nation against fraud, extortion, terrorist groups, lawbreakers, and practices detrimental to society

A friend asked me what the legal system is like in America, given that people of all nationalities from around the world live there.?
The response was calm, and I replied briefly: “Like everyone else, I live subject to the law on equal footing.” For no one stands above the law or the constitution that governs the most important aspects of life.
In this country, no one can simply disregard the law, usurp your rights through trickery, intimidation, bullying, deception, or lies, or level baseless accusations against you—unlike in some Third World nations, where the absence of the rule of law fosters a predatory, jungle-like environment in which the strong prey upon the weak.
Here in America, however, the situation is vastly different; everyone is treated with dignity. Individuals who respect the law and society see their rights safeguarded by a legal system that applies equally to all, regardless of status. Conversely, those who fail to respect legal and behavioral norms must be prepared to face the consequences of violating the system.
Here in this great country, some people mistakenly believe that matters are simple and that the competent authorities are oblivious to what is happening—specifically the transgressions, violations, and crimes committed by thugs (who are numerous in the United States) against the nation and American society. Those who engage in such acts, or collaborate with the perpetrators, may think they are clever for carrying out these unlawful deeds and reaping vast, illegal profits; yet, they are mistaken. The state, the system, and the law are fully aware of everything, and justice will eventually catch up with them—it is merely a matter of time.
Terrorism, extortion, illicit trafficking in contraband, and actions that harm the rights of society and the nation—as well as defiance of the law and order—have no place in the United States. Under the established laws and Constitution, the state protects all rights, ensuring equality for everyone within society under the rule of law.
The United States operates under a federal system of government. Each of the fifty states has its own government, and local governments—such as municipalities—exist within each state. The federal government comprises three branches: the legislative branch (Congress), the executive branch (represented by the President, departments, and agencies), and the judicial branch (represented by the court system, including the Supreme Court). The Constitution defines the respective responsibilities and powers of these branches.
Operating under the same system of legislative, executive, and judicial branches, state governments clarify and enforce laws enacted by the federal government while also establishing additional laws to govern their respective states. Furthermore, states designate local governments and empower them to enact laws. Since federal, state, and local governments all enact legislation, laws may vary from one state to another and even between municipalities. It is important for refugees to be aware of this, as everyone is required to comply with both local laws and the laws of the state in which they reside.
To whom do the laws apply?
The law applies to every individual within the United States, regardless of social status, position, or any other privilege they may hold; the same laws apply to everyone. There is no legal basis for circumventing the law, and even attempting to bribe someone to secure special privileges or exemptions is a crime punishable by law.
The Right to a Fair Trial.
If a person violates the law, they are entitled to a fair trial. This right entails being treated fairly through specific legal procedures when accused of a crime. In the United States, the right to a fair trial is enshrined in the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution, and additional safeguards for a fair trial are also in place.
