Al-Manfi Rejects Foreign Interference in Sudan

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council TS Lt. Gen.Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and the President of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, held a bilateral meeting on Monday in which they discussed strengthening bilateral relations and ways to support the prospects for joint cooperation between the two countries, in a way that serves the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
Al-Burhan briefed the President of the Presidential Council on the developments in the situation in Sudan, against the backdrop of the rebellion of the terrorist Rapid Support RSF militia against the State, which resulted in the targeting of civilians, killing of defenseless innocents, and the sabotage of vital institutions, installations, and infrastructure projects.
He affirmed that despite all these violations committed by this terrorist militia, the Government of Sudan responded by sitting with it in the Jeddah platform to end the suffering of the Sudanese, and an agreement was reached last May according to which these forces would leave the homes of citizens to agreed upon locations.

Al-Burhan appreciated the positive positions of the State of Libya towards Sudan, expressed by the exiled president in regional and international forums, calling for and supporting Sudan’s unity, national security and stability,,
and rejecting negative foreign interference in the two brotherly countries.
For his part, Al-Menfi affirmed Libya’s support for Sudan and its support for its unity, security and territorial integrity, indicating that Sudan is an important country for Libya, and its stability and cohesion cannot be neglected. He added that Libya’s efforts to reach peace in Sudan are a commitment and responsibility towards this brotherly country, stressing that these efforts It will continue until it pays off.
Affirming that they look forward to bringing stability and peace to Sudan soon, given the importance Sudan represents in the region and the great goodness, prosperity, growth and development that is promised to it.
