Dear fellow New Yorkers,

We absolutely, positively and unequivocally can’t and will never, ever tolerate, normalize or accept hatred in the Big Apple, the gorgeous mosaic. New York, where every few blocks one can easily meet people from all walks of life and speaking every language under the sun, must preserve its most valuable treasure, its exotic diversity.

Unfortunately the Increasing bias attacks and violence driven by hatred put us all in deservedly shameful box as culpable silent accomplices and percipatates our recent exodus to other states. Our nonchalant reaction to these terrifying attacks also makes it seem we acquiesced to them. “There come a time when silence is betrayal.” Dr. Martin Luther King.

Against the backdrop of these increased bias attacks against our fellow New Yorkers, New York Community Peacebuilding Commission and its partners will be leading One New York Love march from the Museum of Chinese in America on Center Street to Young Israel Beth El in Borough Park, Brooklyn via Manhattan Bridge on Sunday, June 5, 2022, 2-5pm.

All are invited to the march. Community based organizations are highly encouraged to mobilize their members for the march. We are one New York family.
