FBI Director Wray Visits San Antonio Field Office, Addresses Violent Crime<\/p>\n
On April 6-7, 2023, FBI Director Christopher Wray visited the FBI\u2019s San Antonio Field Office and Del Rio Resident Agency and met with Special Agent in Charge Oliver E. Rich Jr. and other field office personnel. He also met with local law enforcement partners and members of the media to affirm the FBI\u2019s continued commitment to help stem violent crime in the area.<\/p>\n
\u201cFighting violent crime, along with the other threats impacting central and southwest Texas, takes all of us working together\u2014with all our collective strengths, authorities, and expertise,\u201d said Director Wray. \u201cTo do that requires constant collaboration, and I\u2019m confident that\u2019s happening here in the San Antonio area across the board, and specifically on our task forces, which are really the backbone of our efforts.\u201d<\/p>\n
