\n\n\n\nThe FBI, along with the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office for the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Department of State, added Vitel\u2019Homme Innocent<\/a> to its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list<\/a>on November 15, 2023.<\/p>\nVitel\u2019Homme is\u00a0a Haitian national and leader of the Kraze\u00a0Barye gang,\u00a0which operates in the Torcelle\u00a0and Tabarre areas of Haiti and actively participates in kidnappings for ransom, extortion, and car thefts.<\/p>\n
In October 2021, Kraze\u00a0Barye and the 400 Mawozo\u00a0gang allegedly kidnapped\u00a016 U.S. citizens serving as Christian missionaries near Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The group included\u00a0five children, including one as young as 8 months old. The hostages were allegedly held at gunpoint and most remained captive for 61 days before escaping.
